Travis Ellison: when did you get into music and started rapping?                                                                                                                                                              Chase Krumbz : I use to watch yo mtv raps and just dreamed about rapping, being a star, starring in my own videos. That's when I decided to start creating.                                                                                                                                                                                              Travis Ellison : at what age you started rapping?                                                                                                      Chase Krumbz : At the age of seven. I started to take my craft seriously At the age of twelve.                                                                                                              Travis Ellison : out of all the other music genres what attracted you to rap ?                                                                                                                                          Chase Krumbz : It was just something I felt! I use to listen to all my mother R&B collection. everyone from Atlantic Starr, Isley Brothers, gap band etc. but what really got me into hip-hop was the vibrant percussion and the poetic stories that was told. I felt artists we're telling my story.                                                                                                                                  Travis Ellison : how did you come up with your rap name ?                                                                                                                                                                              Chase Krumbz : I was actually doing my ten years state prison sentence when I came up with my stage name. I've always been the type to chase the almighty dollar. And that one moment I came to realization that I've been chasing Krumbz my entire life. And there it was! The birth of Chase Krumbz!                                                                                                    Travis Ellison : how many music projects you have to date ?                                                                                                                                                                                Chase Krumbz : I have many projects I've done in the past. But to date I'm focused on the Bad Kompany album and my solo album dropping in the winter of 2022.                                                                                                                                                                Travis Ellison : do you wanna remain a independent artist ?                                                                                                                                                                                Chase Krumbz : well, I'm always gonna be a independent artist, but at the same time I'm part of something greater.                                                                                                                                                        Travis Ellison : daily your walking towards your future does your future represent you ?                                                                                                                  Chase Krumbz : Absolutely it does.                                                                                                                            Travis Ellison : have you accomplish all your goals as a rap artist ?                                                                                                                                                                    Chase Krumbz : No I have not. I don't think there's any artists that feels they have accomplish all of their goals.                                                                                                                                                                        Travis Ellison : is your music a representation of self ?                                                                                                                                                                                          Chase Krumbz : Absolutely I couldn't see it no other way.  if your isn't a direct representation of yourself. and what you go through or have been through been through, then it's fraudulent.                                                                                                                              Travis Ellison : what is your rap style ?                                                                                                                        Chase Krumbz : my rap style is my own. I don't compare myself or have really never been compared to anybody else. I've heard the name Nas come up once or twice.                                                                                                                                          Travis Ellison : what can fans take away from your music ?                                                                                                                                                                              Chase Krumbz : The Authenticity!!                                                                                                                                Travis Ellison : does your stars align up in the universe ?                                                                                                                                                                          Chase Krumbz : I believe so. and I believe I'm following the right path !                                                                                                                                                Travis Ellison : what advice will your older self give your younger self ?                                                                                                                                                        Chase Krumbz : Humble your self be patient.                                                                                                          Travis Ellison :  how would you like to be remembered ?                                                                                                                                                                Chase Krumbz : for my authentiicy and big heart !
