Travis Ellison, when did you start singing

Renee Caldwell, I began singing at the age of well at a very young age in the church I was in the chair of choir. but I was really shy so I had to be encouraged regularly by choir director. my first major performance as a child was in middle school when I was selected to be a part of the show choir.   Travis Ellison, who were your musical influence growing up                                                                        Renee Caldwell, my musical influence growing up were Whitney Houston Michael Jackson Madonna and honestly any show that had a lot of performing artist in production. I remember one of my favorite shows was fame with Debbie Allen. I just knew that I was gonna be a part of performing and dancing in shows like the wiz or Grease on Broadway one day. I even remember being a huge fan of a show called solid gold back in the gap just because all of the music and dancing and how engaging and exciting everything was.                                                                   Travis Ellison, what is your musical style                      Renee Caldwell, my musical style is soul and blues primarily as a recording artist. however I'm a multifaceted entertainer so I've been known to experiment and entertain in many different genre and styles of music.                                                           Travis Ellison, what does your music represent.         Renee Caldwell, I believe my music represent real life experiences, and good vibes, and street entertainment.                                                                   Travis Ellison,  how many music projects you have to date.                                                                                Renee Caldwell,  to date I have one album I just recently released this year and several singles that are out that are all on major distribution sites and available for download and streaming.                         Travis Ellison, how far you wanna take your music career                                                                                  Renee Caldwell, honestly I'd I'll like to take my music career as far as possible. I'm not only a recording artist I'm also a songwriter so we know the music business is full of possiblties and opportunities. and since I know that I'm purposed to do music and share it everywhere, I always want to be involved in music always want to be performing music always want to be writing music and always want to be sharing music.                           Travis Ellison, where you originally from.                      Renee Caldwell, Iam from Shreveport Louisiana which is in the northern part of Louisiana. a lot of people just been an associate Louisiana  with New Orleans. which I love but Iam a northern Louisiana girl.                                                                                        Travis Ellison, is it better to be independent or sign with a major label if given the chance.                           Renee Caldwell, well I can really only speak on the perspective of being an independent artist which I've seen the pros and the cons of. I know that as an independent there's a lot more personal investment many more hats and responsibilities that has to be taken on by the artist. however less people with their hands in the pot so to speak. and with a major label as I understand there's definitely the opportunity or the chance you'll have a team or a machine working with you as an artist which can accelerate things if you're in the right situation. so I guess it's just like with anything it depends on what you need and if the relationship you're in is meeting those needs best.                                                                Travis Ellison, where do you see yourself in the next couple years                                                             Renee Caldwell, in the next couple years I like to see Sweet Nay brand as a house hold name relative artistry and entertainment.
