Starting with having Karaoke 🎤 Parties
In My Aunt Kitty’s basement which we called
The Kitty 🐈⬛ Cat Lounge…
At 5 years old I performed at a Local bar
Called the (Crawford Grille )
With my Mother , Aunt Kitty (Dj Kitty), And my Uncle Dave (R.I.P)
People would ask me to sign my autograph Each time after singing (Aretha Franklins ) ( Baby I Love You )I had no clue what that meant at that time I just had an old soul !!
They told me I would be someone someday
My Aunt Was a Dj around the City and my Father just started back up Dj’ing around the City as well !!
My Grandmother ( Ging) (R.I.P.)
Was also a song writer creating Gospel music singing in the church choir and had me in the Choir as well !! Which inspired one of my songs titled ( I’m Blessed) the hook was my Grandmother’s song titled ( Im Blessed) I just put a little twist to it !!
I’ve also was apart of the Mime team once I ventured off and found my own Church and started teaching my children Mike as well!!
So Music was always my getaway!!
From the ages of about 4 years old to 15 years old
I performed front and center on different stages even Washington DC
While being involved with the African Dance and drum ensemble (Shona Shariff)
Which was my dance instructor/ God Mother (R.I.P)
She also saw something special in me as well
To be sure to have me everywhere she went Front and Center!!
I was in a Gospel Play ( Black Nativity)
Ran by Shona Shariff African Dance and Drum Ensemble !! After her passing her son Orande Shariff became the Instructor/ Director and he allowed me to have the opportunity to become the dance instructor for the youth group!!
I’ve also been apart of many dance teams around the City and won several competitions so being on stage was never an issue for me !!
I’ve also ran track, played soccer,basketball and Cheerleading during my younger years !!
And taught my sons how to play Football and Basketball!!
I was also a cheerleading Coach for all ages during the years of my boys being on football teams and daughter as a cheerleader !!
That was fun !
At 15 years old I started to write ✍️ my own music 🎶
I also wrote for several Artist as well
And recorded my first song in 2004!!
Fast forward I became a Mother of my 5 children so I had to focus on doing everything necessary for them 💯couldn’t focus on me!!
In 2021
I decided to take time for myself and come out publicly because I wanted to show people that it’s ok to be different!! I had to find the confidence within myself to finally Show Out !!
Beyoncé is by far my favorite female singer
And Usher was my crush growing up I had a serious obsession lol
My fav female Rappers are Lauryn Hill , Eve, and Lisa Left Eye Lopez ( R. I.P.)
And my fav male rappers are Tupac, Nas , and Lil Wayne !!
I’ve performed in over 300 Shows throughout the 3 years and Won so many Shows I can’t keep count
I was Crowned ( Queen Of The Burgh) Oct .2023!!
Won 3 Hot Mic 🎤 Trophies in 2021!!
Won a free Vacation in 2022!!
Those are just to name a few !!
I never go in planning to Win !!
I just want to be heard and want to inspire others that you can do whatever in this world you put your mind too!!
I just love what I do so there’s no telling what’s about to happen once I get a Mic in my hand !!
So far I’ve performed in Iowa City Iowa , Detroit several times , Columbus Ohio to name a few!!
