Travis Ellison : what was your life like growing up in Harlem New York ?                                                            

The Voice Of Harlem : my life was fun as A youth being born and raised here.my whole life to see the first generation of hip hop born, knowing Harlem's legends personally like Az,Rich Porter and Alpo to basketball legends like Master Rob, Terminator, Richie Adams, seeing Harlem's first black mayor David Dinkins.                                                                    

Travis Ellison : growing up in Harlem was it always fast pace ?                                                                           

The Voice Of Harlem : Harlem was always fast pace summer time basketball tournaments, winter indoors hip hop, Harlem always has something going on for people to be.                                                

Travis Ellison : what's the meaning behind your name The Voice Of Harlem ?                                           

The Voice Of Harlem : the true meaning behind The Voice Of Harlem came from being the commentor at kingdome basketball tournament I started there in 2003 and my style of knowing not just the players full history  from Elementary School to pros but all the fans in attendance knowing who they were as well and the things on life they did in 2005.when I walk in the crowd they would all chant calling me The Voice Of Harlem as you see it stuck worldwide.    

Travis Ellison : at what age did you start rapping ?      

The Voice Of Harlem : I was in my early 30s when I first recorded A track I never rap until then. the producers and music people saw how I had people dancing on the basketball courts during time outs and halftime everyone felt I should try doing music Diddy came to kingdome and told me I was the James Brown,Frank Sinatra of hip hop do to my style of wik wik noises.                                                               

Travis Ellison : how did you get on Young B song chicken noodle soup ?                                                      

The Voice Of Harlem : I ended up doing the song chicken noodle soup by DJ Webstar introducing himself and Young B to me at kingdome he had A great idea we should collab and do A big teen dance party and make A track to play so me and Young B recorded chicken noodle soup.I went off the top I didn't hear the best until I got to the studio so I did one take from the beginning to the end of the song.                                                                             

Travis Ellison : what's the total of music projects you have out ?                                                                            

The Voice Of Harlem : I have several projects out now I did A track with Asap Ferg for Hype Williams,I also did A track with Asap Ferg and Pharrell from neptunes,I just had two of my tracks place in movie's, the group BTS from South Korea just remixed my song chicken noodle soup on their new album which is the number 1 seller on all platforms worldwide,I have my own album being produced,me,Young B and Jaquae have A new single.                                                                                   

Travis Ellison : when you first came out was the music scene different then ?                                           

The Voice Of Harlem : when I came out in 2006 the music scene was totally different.music was more heart felt, meaningful, there was no division amongst different states and it was based around making people dance.where as now they talking about being high on perks and it's A hit.                       

Travis Ellison : how does it feel to be A legend in the game ?                                                                                

The Voice Of Harlem : as far as being looked at as A legend I really don't put much thought in it I've always loved people and love in return it's like A prophet I do what I do looking for nothing in return especially dealing with people and what so ever A legend is.it should be A reflection of who they are as A person.                                                                            

Travis Ellison :  have you accomplished all your goals as A artist during the course of your career ?              

The Voice Of Harlem : I've accomplished A lot of goals un foreseen like being on sesame street,world tours,all day time talk shows, from Ellen show, Oprah Winfrey, good day New York and other shows,hosted for Lebron James to Kobe Bryant, having my song apart of McDonald's happy meal  world wide, songs with Diddy, Beyonce but I believe the best is yet to come I just thank God for my blessings.                                                                            

Travis Ellison : what does Harlem mean to you ?         

The Voice Of Harlem : Harlem means everything to me.its definition is me I'm Harlem there's no where else I rather be and I've been every where Harlem has it's own style,talk and swagger.                                

Travis Ellison : if your older self had A chance to meet your younger self what advice would they give each other ?                                                                        

The Voice Of Harlem : my older self could meet my younger self I would have told him the business is up and down so spend money wisely.I would tell myself not to waste so much time not being productive with all the things that take away like having A lot of women which take away from work, having big entourages for no reason, having A limit on spending and saving more and to never change as A good person in which Im still Am.                          

Travis Ellison : where can everyone hear your music at ?                                                                                       

The Voice Of Harlem : my music is worldwide and can be found on all music platforms as well as on A lot of artists and producers projects and most mainstream radio stations.                                              

Travis Ellison : any new music coming ?                        

The Voice Of Harlem : I have new music just finished my album title the return of JD Walker.                         

Travis Ellison : yourself as A man and artist is it one in the same ?                                                                      

The Voice Of Harlem : as A man and artist I see it as no different Iam The Voice Of Harlem because of my personality and character which reflects the man.     

Travis Ellison : how would you want your legacy to be remembered ?                                                              

The Voice Of Harlem I want my legacy to be remembered forever like Martin Luther King Ghandi and Mother Theresa as far what I do everything for the people from my heart always wanting happiness,fun, dance and togetherness and to spread that vibe across the planet Iam the lite.
