Jay Swagz : it was pretty rough. Just me and my Mom's she worked hard but struggled to put food on the table! my city is filled with violence, poverty, and drugs I think that paints a picture.                          

Travis Ellison : how did you get into rapping ?              

Jay Swagz : listening and watching Run Dmc perform.                                                                              

Travis Ellison : what drawed you to rap music ?           

Jay Swagz : in Jr High School a couple friends of mine would rap at the dance school and would throw and I love it so I started rapping from there.. I was 13 14 years old! lol.                                                  

Travis Ellison :  how would you describe your style?   

Jay Swagz : Gritty, Grimey, Aggressive, up in yo face type rap.
