Mizz D : I was born and raised in Richmond Va, on the Northside.                                                                    

Travis Ellison : how was life growing up ?                       

Mizz D : life was good but came with it's trials.my mom was big on pushing us to pursue whatever we wanted in life so that helped to shape me a lot.we had problems like any other family we learned early how to overcome and not make excuses!!                    

Travis Ellison : why did you choose rap as the genre of music you wanna do ?                                                  

Mizz D : I chose rap cuz it's a form of therapy and expression.it really chose me because it became so natural.I like the high energy that comes with it and I love seeing the crowd in motion.                                  

Travis Ellison : any artists you look up to growing.       up ?                                                                                     

Mizz D : I look up to a lot of artists growing up, but I must say the females of hip hop were my biggest influences.                                                                           

Travis Ellison : how is it to be a female rapper in today's industry ?                                                               

Mizz D : it comes with a lot of stereo types and false expectations.learning to keep everything on a professional level when dealing with men in the business is super important!!                                          

Travis Ellison : how many music projects you have out ?                                                                                     

Mizz D : I have a total of four projects out,.three of them available on all DSPs.                                              

Travis Ellison : where can your music be heard at ?    

Mizz D : my music can be found on all streaming platforms.                                                                           

Travis Ellison : how would you describe your rap style ?                                                                                   

Mizz D : my rap style is my own it's authentic.              however, I do believe that I have picked up sounds all over just tapping into music all my life.I had to learn how to critic my sound and flow to create my original sound.                                                                   

Travis Ellison : what kind of legacy you wanna leave behind ?                                                                              

Mizz D : I want my legacy to represent truth, staying authentic while having lifetime positive impact on whoever cross my path and receive my energy. A legacy of perseverance, determination and joy!!
