. Where you from? Boston, Massachusetts in the hood of a town we call Mattapan 02126.
. How was your upbringing? I had a pretty cool upbringing growing up with just me and my sister getting to experience Alot being raised by my mom that did a great job with us. My father never lived with me but my step father at the time did but me and my dad still managed to keep a good relationship through out my life that's one of the realist OGs I know.
Ofcourse I had to face my own trails and tribulations holding it down in the streets from time to time growing up in a violent neighborhood where I lost a lot of my friends. However I still made the best of it with where I grew up at just like any other young homie trying to figure it out before moving.
I always knew I wanted better with being that determined to make a way while some other people was lost, misguided & still felt that they had something to prove I had a whole game plan to be great.
. When did you take an interest in music? My sister and uncles was big on hip-hop especially the one that's a Dj. So it's always been a part of my family I just started becoming interested with wanting to be a rapper at a young age.
Who were your musical influence growing up? Besides other local artist from city I was influenced by all the greats such as JAY-Z, 2 PAC, Notorious B.I.G, Nas, The Lox, Eminem, Dr. Dre, DMX, 50 Cent, Dipset Ofcourse & many more I'm truly what you call a hip-hop head.
At what age did you start rapping yourself? I was 12 years old when I started writing I started going to the studio when I was 14.
How many music projects you have out? Through out my whole career I have released 8 solo mixtapes, 1 debut album with my new one on the way, 3 group mixtapes, & 9 Pass The Torch Unsigned Talent Mixtape compilations.
Any current singles out? Yeah I have a fire singlebfor the clubs that I'm pushing it's called Pour Me A Cup Featuring Sen City of 730 Dips Produced By 2X Grammy Award Winning Multi-Platinum Producer KMack. You can also hear that on my new album Pain Pride & Ego as well.
How did you get affiliated with dipset? Back in 2005 I was heard by a promoter in Maine at a rap battle at this club name Usia’s. I wasn’t battling that day, I was just going to promote my mixtape New England Patriot. He recognized my name and wanted to hear me rap acapella. Once I got to my 8th bar he stopped me then said I got a show for you to do which led to me being the opening act for Nappy Roots in Portland, Maine.
After I did that show, the next one was me opening up for Juelz Santana. I wasn’t aware that my name was brought up to him by the promoter that booked him when sealing the deal for his performance. This was my first paid show. When I tried to give him my mixtape once he got off stage he took it and was about to sign it. I then stopped him and said no disrespect, I am a fan of your music but I want you to listen to my shit. Like how Cam’ron listened to his. After that, he shook his head with that respect look in his eyes and put it in his pocket. He then said let’s kick it back at the hotel. It was destined to happen. I wasn’t aware, but the promoter placed our rooms directly across from each other.
Are you signed to a label or independent? I'm Independent making major moves happen.
What advice will your younger self give your older self. That's actually a good question the younger me would tell the older me to keep on leading by example because the youngins out here need proper guidance.
As a artist have you accomplish all your goals? I Haven't accomplished all them but 75 percent of them I have and blessed to make it this far because it definitely wasn't easy it took a lot of hard work and dedication.
where do you see yourself in the next two years? Well by that time I will be 39 so I would say hopefully happily Married if my queen is acting right, owning more businesses, doing more traveling, still recording music, executive producing other artist & running the real estate game.
