T.Ellis : How was life your life growing up in the UK ?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Perfect Pete : It was cool. I was born in 1975 (hence the C75 part in C75 Live) and grew through the 80s and 90s.No phone cameras or social media You could do what you wanted without it being on permanent record haha.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    T.Ellis : What part of UK you grew up in ?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Perfect Pete : I grew up in Cannock in the West Midlands. Quiet town not from Birmingham.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                T.Ellis : How did you get into Hip Hop ?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Perfect Pete : Just hearing rap music in the charts mainly. A friend of mine at school introduced me to a lot of music later on too. Birmingham and my dad's home town of Wolverhampton have a big black population so there were plenty of record stores and events.cassettes used to have liner notes with Thank You sections where rappers would shout out other rappers so I'd go and listen to their music and so on.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   T.Ellis : What encourage you to start rapping ?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Perfect Pete : I've always been a fan of wordplay, double meanings etc, so I started writing my own raps and freestyling just for fun.
